About Us
"Ki" (Pronounced "Key") is an Inupiat Eskimo word that means "Let's Go"
Founded in 2000, Ki was formed to provide exceptional services to government and commercial customers and to provide a source of support for our shareholders, the Inupiat peoples of Northwest Alaska. Our support enables our native shareholders to preserve their traditions while building opportunities for the future collectively and individually.
Structure
Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with corporate offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, Ki is a owned by Ki Professional Services Group, LLC (75%), a subsidiary of NANA Development Corporation, and The Aleut Corporation (25%). Both are Alaska Native Corporations, formed as a result of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. NANA is a $1 billion company engaged in professional and contracting services, lodging and hotel management, and oilfield and mining support.
