Ki Services: Calibration
Ki provides calibration services as the operator of the Peterson AFB Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL). Services include scheduling, transfer of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) between the PMEL and its customers, and provides each customer with a TMDE schedule concurrently with each TMDE Master Identification Listing. Items are calibrated in accordance with Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory's Air Force Metrology Calibration (AFMETCAL) processes with traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ki technicians review calibration Technical Orders and requisition additional standards and test equipment as needed to upgrade PMEL capabilities. They also review PMEL Equipment Support Plans and requisition equipment as directed.
